The Orange County Sheriff's Technology Advisory Council (C.T.A.C) is an organization created through appointment by the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner, Sandra Hutchens in late 2009. 

  The C.T.A.C is a volunteer group of leading technology industry professionals and academics. The C.T.A.C is independent of the Sheriff's Department and focused on technology and related security issues and their technical and budgetary challenges.
